About this PodCast
The Savor the Burn Podcast started in early 2023 with bandmates Jonathan and W2 from Burn the Gates, a Kansas City-based metal band. What began as a fun project to taste and discover whiskies, bourbons, and scotches has evolved into something more—mixing tried-and-true cocktail recipes with new ingredients while inspiring memorable conversations.
Our first full episode released on February 17, 2023, and we hit episode #165 on December 26, 2025.
Since its inception, Savor the Burn has been a multimedia experience.
