My great-grandfather was a painter. At a very young age, I use to sit with him in his studio and create. My love of visual expression grew from there. I moved to Kansas City in 1991 as a student at the Kansas City Art Institute. there I studied art and received my Bachelors of Fine Art in Illustration and Graphic Design. oil paint was and still is a medium of choice for me, but I also love acrylic as well.
